Society of Tribologists and Lubricatiion Engineers

STLE is the premier technical society serving the needs of more than 10,000 individuals and 150 companies and organizations that comprise the tribology and lubrication engineering business sector. STLE members are technical experts who research, develop and market the methods and products that make industry more successful and that enhance the well-being of people worldwide. Our members are employed by the world's leading corporations and academic institutions and by governmental agencies dealing with science and technology. STLE supports these distinguished men and women with a variety of professional education and certification programs.

Independent Lubricant Manufacturers Association

The Independent Lubricant Manufacturers Association (ILMA) was established in 1948 in order to meet the needs of its Members by providing advocacy, networking, and a collaborative effort to succeed in today's business world. The trade association is the principal voice for the industry before Congress, federal regulatory agencies and other industry groups. Through its enforceable Code of Ethics, ILMA promotes integrity and quality in lubricant manufacturing and marketing. ILMA serves its members through:

  • Industry and Association Committees
  • Meetings
  • Publications

ILMA is guided by its Strategic Plan, which reflects the needs of the ILMA members today. After 15 years of utilizing a 'Long Range Plan,' in 2000 ILMA developed its first facilitated Strategic Plan with the guidance of Smock-Sterling, Strategic Management Consultants. A second plan was created in 2004, and now a new plan is being implemented this year.

Precision Machined Products Association

The PMPA has been in continuous operation since its inception in 1933. The success of the organization can be directly attributed to the on-going involvement of its members at the chapter level, committee level, and on the Board of Directors.  The PMPA consists of industry leaders who understand that a strong trade association is critical to ensure the future of manufacturing in North America.

MP Systems

MP Systems, Inc. of East Granby, Connecticut is a manufacturer and supplier of high pressure coolant systems used in CNC manufacturing.  In addition to high pressure coolant systems, MP Systems provides mist collection, chiller and wash down products.  MP Systems' products are sold and distributed throughout North America. Its customers are users and distributors of CNC machine tool technology and OEM builders of CNC machine tools.

Virginia Economic Development Program

Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) promotes international trade for companies throughout Virginia.  Our mission is to increase the number of Virginia companies selling overseas and their volume of international business, year after year. We assist both new and experienced exporters enter new international markets.  We identify potential new markets, develop market entry strategies and locate possible distributors and representatives for products or services—all at little to no cost.
