Mr. Forest is responsible for sales, marketing and product management within the Metalworking Division. Mike has primary responsibility for managing the metalworking distributor network.
Mr. Forest began his career in the chemical industry as a field technician for Water Management Services (Southampton, PA) in the commercial water treatment market. Mike spent 18 years with Castrol Industrial (Downers Grove, IL). His metalworking career started in the lab synthesizing additives for Mayco Oil and Chemical (previously owned by Castrol) and providing field technical support for the Metalworking Division. From the lab, Mike went out into the field as a Sales Engineer for CINA (Castrol Industrial North America) covering the Mid Atlantic region. He then took on two marketing roles. The first was the Program Manager for Opcon, where he developed the marketing program for Castrol’s Oil Reprocessing Business. Mike then became the Senior Product Manager for the Metalworking Division. Mike’s primary responsibility as Senior Product Manager was in the area of Cutting and Grinding Fluids where he was responsible for new product development, pricing and product line strategy. Mike’s career progressed into various management roles including: Automotive Sales Manager and Director of Sales for Eastern US and Canada.
Mr. Forest is a native of Bucks County, PA and studied chemistry at East Stroudsburg University and Holy Family University.
Mr. Andrews is responsible for the development of the metalworking product line, including the environmental, health, and safety aspects. Gary also provides both technical and sales input in support of the Metalworking Division.
Gary has spent the majority of his career in the Metalworking industry, primarily in Research and Development. Gary began his metalworking career with Castrol Industrial North America (Downers Grove, IL). Over his 12-year career with Castrol, Gary held a number of technical positions and had primary responsibility for the development of the cutting and grinding fluid product line. Prior to leaving Castrol, Gary spent three years as the Manager of Research and Development for the Metalworking group. Prior to joining QualiChem, he spent three years with Nalco (Naperville, IL) where his primary responsibilities included new product development and technology upgrades to the existing product line.
Mr. Andrews is a native of Chicago, IL. He is a 1993 graduate of Roosevelt University with a B.S. in Chemistry.
Mr. Frank is an owner of QualiChem, Inc. He is responsible for directing the corporation and has Sales, Operations, Legal, and Administrative management oversight. Additionally, Glenn maintains primary responsible for relationships with suppliers and is directly involved in all key purchasing decisions. Glenn also provides both technical and sales input in support of the Metalworking Division.
Glenn has spent his entire 23-year career in the chemical industry. He has held a variety of positions in manufacturing, sales, marketing and business management while working for Milliken & Co. (Spartanburg, SC), Chemical and Solvents, Inc. (Roanoke, VA), Nalco Chemical Co. (Naperville, IL) and Castrol Industrial North America (Downers Grove, IL). A significant portion of Glenn’s career has been in the metalworking industry. Prior to joining QualiChem, Glenn spent eight years with Castrol Industrial North America in sales, marketing and senior management. For most of his tenure with Castrol, Glenn managed Castrol’s Cutting and Grinding product line and was responsible for new product development, pricing, and training of the direct sales forces and the distributor network.
Glenn is a native of Roanoke, VA and a 1985 graduate of the Virginia Military Institute with a B.S. in Chemistry.
Mr. Johnson has primary responsibility for technical support and quality control for the metalworking business. Additionally, Andy contributes to the product development process.
Andy was honorably discharged from the Navy in 1990. He then began his career in metalworking with Harrigan Industrial (Germantown WI) as a fluid technician. Andy later joined Castrol Industrial North America (Downers Grove, IL) and held a number of positions during his 12-year career there, including Sales Engineer, Sr. Technical Support Chemist, and R&D Chemist. Prior to joining QualiChem, Mr. Johnson spent four years with Total Fina Elf (Rockingham, NC) having formulation, quality control, and technical support responsibility for the metalworking product line.
Andy has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Carthage College in Kenosha, WI.
Dr. Snyder heads the Technical group at QualiChem. His responsibilities include direction of laboratory product development, analytical, and quality control efforts. Bill has primary responsibility for QualiChem’s quality management system (ISO 9000). Additionally, he leads regulatory affairs as well as occupational health and safety efforts. Bill also provides technical and sales support to our distributor network.
Bill’s previous experience includes more than 20 years in the Research and Development department at Betz (Trevose, PA). While working in the laboratory, Bill developed boiler and cooling products for a wide variety of applications. He holds five patents for this work. As a Research Director, he was responsible for Boiler, Cooling, Microbiology, Water/Wastewater, and Core Science product development and application efforts. Prior to joining Betz, Bill held a postdoctoral position at Marquette University.
Bill received his Ph. D. in Inorganic Chemistry from Florida State University, and a B.S. in Chemistry from Lebanon Valley College. He is a member of the American Chemical Society and the National Association of Corrosion Engineers as well as a past representative to the Industrial Research Institute and the Product Development and Management Association.
